What better way to combine those than working as a barista at my local Dunn Brothers?
My favorite part about being a barista is getting to know our customers and ensuring their experience at our store is one that makes them want to keep coming back.
From making drinks to learning more about the coffee industry, I love blending my passion for business and coffee (no pun intended).

Harkraft was my first introduction to the 'real world' by plucking me out of my comfort zone and throwing me into the day to day functions of a successful small business.
I assisted the receptionist and worked on daily projects, but my biggest takeaway is that I can soak in tons of new knowledge by observing the business environment around me just as much as I can do by doing the work.
Foss Swim School
Swim Instructor
Swim cap, lesson plan, four kids under the age of ten. This pretty much sums up a day in the life of being a swim instructor at Foss Swim School.
While most of my time working for Foss was spent in the water with aspiring little swimmers, I also learned a ton from their unique brand.
I taught students of wide age ranges and skillsets and communicated student progress with both parents and management — all while prioritizing Foss's brand and mission to keep "Laughter at the heart of our unique curriculum".
Wheel Fun Rentals
Front End Associate
There's nothing better than an afternoon of canoeing or kayaking on a hot summer Minnesota day!
Working at Wheel Fun Rentals for four summers was met with lots of Vitamin D, beautiful sunsets and long lines of outdoorsy customers.
My favorite part about working on the lakeside was getting to know our regular customers and being a key player in making someone's "day off" at a Minnesota beach feel as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
