Why St. Thomas?
I'm a 'big fish in a small pond' kind of person.
I don't need to be part of something huge in order to be part of something meaningful.
While many of friends (impressively) applied to 10+ schools across the country, I always knew I wanted to go to St. Thomas and I was going to do whatever it took to get me there.

I chose St. Thomas because I wanted my professors to know my name, my classes to be collaborative and premium access to the beautiful city of St. Paul. Four years later, I consider it one of my best decisions.

Favorite Classes
I loved the hands on aspect of my marketing classes.

From creating a Digital Marketing Strategy for a real
client to drafting an Event Plan for a proposed
event, actually doing marketing taught me so much more than just reading about it in a textbook.

chance to collaborate with a team to turn concepts learned in class into tangible marketing strategies.
Business Learning Through Service
Business Learning Through Service is a community service opportunity for St. Thomas business students.
Spoiler alert: I'm a dog person (no offense to cats).
I jumped at the opportunity to manage the Happy Tails Rescue (a local animal shelter) Instagram page because I was able to use my marketing skills to help deserving animals find loving homes.
I learned first-hand that social media platforms are a huge part of an organization's brand.
My biggest takeaway? Solid social media leads to a stronger brand and in turn a stronger organization!
