Delta Sigma Pi
What is it?
A professional business fraternity with 80+ active members who value growing their professional skills. Members participate in professional, alumni, and community service events.
What roles have I played?
I became a member in 2019 and since then have joined the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee, Marketing Committee and held the VP of Marketing position in fall 2020.
What did I learn?
How to lead a committee of 15 people
How to manage a timeline
Public speaking is challenging! But rewarding.
Business Undergraduate Mentorship Program
What is it?
A mentorship program where business students get paired together to collaborate and learn from each other. The "mentor" has the opportunity to give advice and guidance to their younger "mentee".
What roles have I played?
I joined the program as a mentee in 2018 and became a mentor two years later!
What did I learn?
This program allowed me to be on both ends of the spectrum as I evolved from a new college student to an experienced one. It's so rewarding to receive guidance from a mentor and then within just two years, give back by guiding someone as a mentor.
